Joyce Hess is the CHRO for Firstrust Bank, Philadelphia’s Hometown Bank, family-owned and part of the community for 90 years.
With more than 25 years of business experience, the majority with privately held organizations, her role is to design and guide the talent strategy aligned with the enterprise vision, drive culture and purpose, and be a trusted advisor and coach.
Joyce was named the 2020 Delaware Valley HR person of the year, an award that celebrates the Human Resources Industry and recognizes those in the HR profession who exemplify outstanding achievement by demonstrating a creative approach and consistent high performance that benefits an organization. She is a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and a Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR).
