As Chief People Office of Ardent Credit Union, Mary oversees the day-to-day operations related to Employment, Retention, Employment Policies, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Employee Relation, Organizational Development and HR Compliance.
Mary has spent her entire career in field of Human Resources in various roles with increasing responsibility. Throughout this 38-year timeframe, she has held positions a Recruiter, Generalist, Benefits Administrator, HR Manager/Director, Vice President and Sr. Vice President, Chief People Officer. Prior to joining Ardent in February of 2010, Ms. Hoffman worked as HR Director with The Glenmede Trust Company, a High-Net-Worth firm in center city Philadelphia. Prior to that, she was the Benefits Administrator at The Wistar Institute, a cancer research facility located on the campus of The University of Pennsylvania in West Philadelphia.
In 2016, Mary was awarded her MBA from Holy Family University. She received her undergraduate degree from East Stroudsburg University. Additionally, she has her SPHR designation from HRCI, a Human Resources certifying entity and her SHRM-SCP from Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Mary enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends at the beach, and loves a good movie or book! She and her husband Rick reside in Havertown, PA. They have two grown children, Brian and Jessica.
